This is the proceedings of “The Chernobyl Update” held on 3 June, 1994, at the 67th Annual Meeting of the Japan Endocrine Society, and “Chernobyl in the Future” held on 4 June, 1994 at the International Chernobyl Thyroid Symposium sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of Japan, and proceedings of the “Japan-NIS Chernobyl Thyroid Symposium” held on 12 December, 1993 by Nagasaki University.
