This book describes the development and use of nuclear weapons during World War II. During the last phase of World War II in the Pacific, United States used two atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. According to the Decree of US President Harry Truman, the US Army Air Force dropped atomic bomb, Little Boy, on Monday morning, August 6, 1945 on the city of Hiroshima. Three days later, followed by Hiroshima bombing, the other atomic bomb, Fat Man, was dropped on Nagasaki. The two nuclear bombs are the only nuclear weapons ever used in war.
