Minear, Richard H.. Victors' Justice: The Tokyo War Crimes Trial . , , . Pp. 254
Richard Minear, a historian, reviews the Tokyo Trial from the point of view of international law, legal proceedings of the court, and historical facts. He questions whether the decision of the court was consistent with international law for a peaceful world. In the last chapter, he concludes that the United States committed the same fault as the accused in the Tokyo Trial regarding the United States’ postwar diplomatic policy toward Asian countries, such as the Vietnam War, which has not been judged yet.
