Dean Warren is the son of Dr. Stafford Warren who sat at the knee of Madame Curie, and as a Colonel, became head of the Medical Section of the Manhattan Project. He headed up the post-war survey of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and fought with admirals to protect 42,000 personnel in Operation Crossroads at Bikini Atoll.
